Conference Championship Time!
Let’s Start with Ravens vs. Chiefs
This game should be a classic. Lamar playing at an all-time level. Mahomes is so good you can never count the Chiefs out. My gut, honestly for reasons unknown, is going with the Chiefs this weekend. I think it just comes down to Andy Reed and Pat Mahomes for me. They’re flirting with being a legit dynasty with a SB win this season. To me it feels like destiny they’ll be there - with Taylor Swift in attendance. Baltimore is -3.5 at home making the game a pick’em.
- Winner: Kansas City.
- Score: 24 - 18
- Bet: Kansas City to cover.
The Main Course: Niners vs. Lions
I want to start out by saying no matter who wins this game, I will be rooting for them in the Super Bowl. I have family in Detroit. Really good friends from Michigan. And if I can’t be happy I’ll be happy they’re happy. Detroit is a bad ass city (yes, seriously) and it deserves all of this.
The Niners are 7 point favorites at home which I think is fair. In my mind, and this sounds crazy, this game is a blow out in favor of the Niners. I just get the feeling we’ll be carving up the Lions poor pass defense. The weather is gonna be great and I just think Brock Purdy has one of those days that is incredible but will be diminished by pundits the next day. If we can keep Hutch from eating Brock Purdy, get a lead and force the Lions to throw the ball being behind (keep Gibbs from running), we’ll decimate them.
I believe we’ll win by more than 7 or we will lose. That’s just the feeling I get.
This team has been close the last three years. If we don’t do it I don’t know where we go from there. 3 straight years in the NFC Championship game. Third times a charm. It’s time to get back to the SB. Now. This year.
- Winner: San Francisco
- Score: 36 - 16
- Bet: San Francisco points.
