At Least Pat is Sticking Up for Brock Purdy

This is easily one of the best takedowns of the stupid ass comments by people like Colin Cowherd and Nick Wright. It’s one thing to be critical but the goalpost moving has been insane. These dumb assholes on TV literally talk about Brock like he isn’t a second year QB taking his team to his second NFC Championship game.

That’s literally it. Everyone else talks like they smell shit when his name is brought up. I know we’re a bunch of cynical assholes in this day and age but come the fuck on - Brock Purdy is easily the best story in football. This run should be celebrated - not diminished.
I’m just glad there’s a few guys who give him some credit.

You can’t just throw anyone in Kyle’s system or Nick Mullins and Beathard would have actually been good and we never would have traded for Jimmy G or drafted Trey Lance. People always forget about the pre-Jimmy days. So dumb.
Purdy is an amazing story and for this reason alone I want him to win it all - just to see the goalposts move again. It’s high-level tom-fuckery.
